Step 3: Define Your Brows (2 Minutes)
Why it’s important: Your brows frame your face, giving structure to your look. Defining your brows helps you appear more polished and expressive. Once you learn how to groom your brows at home, it only takes a couple minutes to help them look their best.
How to do it: Start by filling in your brows with brow pencil to create a defined shape and camouflage sparse areas. Using a pencil with a fine tip, quickly draw short, natural, hair-like strokes. Finish by brushing through your brows to distribute the color. (With its built-in spoolie brush, our Hi-Def Brow Pencil is the perfect product for quick brow shaping.) To tame any unruly brow hairs and set your look, try a clear or tinted brow gel. Using short, upward strokes, apply the brow gel to your eyebrows, moving from the inner to outer corners to sculpt, define, and set.
Pro tip: Here’s one of our favorite brow care tips. Pick a brow gel and eyebrow pencil with conditioning ingredients. These will soften and strengthen your eyebrows while you wear them. Think of it as multitasking with your makeup routine! Our Hi-Def Brow Gel contains peptides and oat beta glucan to help fortify, condition, and enhance the look of brows. And our Hi-Def Brow Pencil features vitamin E to provide conditioning benefits to skin.
Step 4: Maximize Your Lashes (1 Minute)
Why it’s important: Lifted and defined lashes open your eyes, giving you a more youthful and wide-awake appearance. Makeup can also maximize the look of your lash serum results by making lashes appear even more dramatic.
How to do it: Begin by curling your lashes with an eyelash curler. With the curler in open position, place your lashes between the silicone pad and the curler, getting close to the base of the lashes. Gently squeeze the handles of the curler together, clamping down on lashes, and hold in place. Finally, release the curler and pull away from lashes, leaving the perfect curl. After curling your lashes, apply mascara. For fuller and more dramatic lashes, choose a volumizing mascara. Try our Double-Ended Volume Set, which includes a volumizing lash primer. For a more natural look with extra length, try a lengthening or tubing mascara. Our Length Define formula is a great choice.
Pro tip: You can take care of your lashes while wearing mascara every day. Just choose a formula with conditioning ingredients. These ingredients can help prevent lash breakage during busy days. Both of our mascara formulas feature peptides, panthenol, and biotin to strengthen and nourish lashes with every swipe.
Bonus Step: Twice-a-Week Treatment (15 Minutes) On days when you have a bit more time, treat your lashes and brows to an ultra-reparative treatment. Our Lash & Brow Masque infuses compromised hair with damage-repairing ingredients in just 15 minutes. In a consumer study, 80 percent said their lashes and brows felt more hydrated in just one use.‡
