This is the only product to contain our unique, ReGenesis® 5D technology, featuring peptides, lipids, and fortifying factors shown to improve lash health and appearance. In addition, it contains Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 (MP-17). This powerhouse is an amazing dual-purpose ingredient as it performs as both an antioxidant to fight the free radicals and their aging effects, as well as a powerful peptide. Like all of our lash conditioners, it features Revitasome® Technology. This unique technology features a plant-based liposomal encapsulated delivery system to aid in stable, slow-release ingredient absorption into the eyelash hairs. Just like our iconic RevitaLash® Advanced, RevitaLash® Advanced Pro not only makes lashes appear shinier and more beautiful, but the formula also helps to defend against breakage and brittleness while improving flexibility and lash appearance.

As with any cosmetic product applied near eyes (e.g. mascara and eyeliner), ocular safety is a high priority. This is especially the case with RevitaLash® Cosmetics as the company was founded by an ophthalmologist, who designed RevitaLash® Advanced to stay where it is applied and not come into contact with eyes, and pioneered novel tests to demonstrate the ocular safety of RevitaLash® Cosmetics eyelash conditioners .  

RevitaLash® Cosmetics eyelash serums were purposefully formulated with a thickener to ensure that they remain on the eyelashes where they are applied, and do not drip into the eye. Our unique applicator wand was specifically developed to only apply a very small amount of product to the eyelashes.  

It's also important to note that a study conducted by an independent ophthalmologist affiliated with UCLA’s School of Medicine used fluorescent dye to photograph a RevitaLash® Cosmetics eyelash serum after it was applied normally and confirmed that the product does not get into the eye fluid. This is important for two reasons: First, it means use of RevitaLash® Cosmetics eyelash serums are safe to eyes (since they do not come in contact with eyes). Second, it means RevitaLash® Cosmetics eyelash serums cannot get into the blood stream, because the primary entry is through absorption by the surface of the eye.

In addition, two independent experts based in the UK, one a highly reputable ophthalmologist and the other a pharmacokinetics expert, have reviewed our safety tests and concluded that no appreciable amount of the serums are absorbed by the body.  

In another study conducted by an independent laboratory, adult volunteers applied a RevitaLash® Cosmetics eyelash serum daily as directed in the package instructions for 4 weeks. A certified ophthalmologist examined the volunteers’ eyes at the beginning and end of the study. The ophthalmologist reported there was no irritation to the eyes or change in the intraocular pressure (IOP) over the 4-week study. Collectively, these tests demonstrate that RevitaLash® Cosmetics eyelash serums generally stay out of eyes and do not have a physiological effect on eyes.

Once a day, morning or night, apply one thin line of RevitaLash® Advanced Eyelash Conditioner directly to clean, dry upper eyelashes only, above the lash line. Dip applicator brush into the bottle one time for both eyes. Use sparingly as dripping into the eye may cause irritation or other unwanted effects. Let dry completely (2-3 minutes) before applying additional beauty products or going to sleep.

RevitaLash® Advanced Eyelash Conditioner has been carefully formulated by an ophthalmologist, and has been tested by independent research laboratories to affirm that it is safe and non-irritating.  However, as with any cosmetic, some people may be allergic to one or more ingredients.  In order to reduce the potential for irritation, apply a thin line of RevitaLash® Advanced Eyelash Conditioner on clean, dry eyelashes above the lash line, once each day or night. Let dry completely before applying additional beauty products. Do not over apply.  

If you are someone that has experienced sensitivity to any lash conditioner or lash serum, you may wish to try our RevitaLash® Advanced Sensitive Eyelash Conditioner, which has been formulated especially for those sensitive users who are prone to irritation. Survey results from an 8-week independent consumer study of 154 participants who self-reported sensitive eyes and lashes showed very favorable results:

Led by a physician, RevitaLash® Cosmetics has formulated its products with safety as a top priority and has documented safety through comprehensive, objective testing.  Like all of the products in the RevitaLash® Cosmetics line, RevitaLash® Advanced Pro has been clinically tested and has an excellent safety profile. The safety of RevitaLash® Advanced Pro to skin and eyes has been demonstrated in industry standard cosmetics testing. As happens with all cosmetic products, including mascara and eyeliner, a very small number of users have reported sensitivity to RevitaLash® Advanced Pro.  Over a one-year period, 0%* of users reported sensitivity.  For a similar product, RevitaLash Advanced, the most common reaction as irritation, including temporary redness, swelling, itching and burning sensation in the eyes.  Even more rare were reports of dry eyes, styes, darkening of the skin at the lashline, periorbital fat loss, and eyelash loss.  Reported reactions typically went away after stopping use. It is not known whether RevitaLash® Advanced or some other factor caused the reported reactions.  *User reported data over a one-year period, May 2023 – April 2024. Note that these reports were received before time-release Revitasome® Technology was added to the product, which was designed to be gentle to sensitive eyes.
